Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. Following her film debut with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). In recognition of her role on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy's is both an American writer and actress. She started her career in film with the crime drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She was praised. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured popular stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. Even though the budget was $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed $50 million. While she was doing this, her debut on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she appeared. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero with Sheedy as an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her stellar performances which include her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
